I really like it. Just based on the couple of episodes that have aired so far, it seems a lot more grown-up than the original (which I also liked, but tbh it was cheesy as hell). The animation looks good, and I'm happy with most of the changes they've made to the characters.
Just read the other comments and saw that Snarf doesn't talk. That might make the remake watchable... Does Cheetara really look as unwell as the promo pics indicated? (she looked like a junkie in the ones I saw)
She's pretty skinny. I've seen people trying to justify it as the design team trying to make her physique more like that of a real cheetah, but... the huge boobs? IDK, IDK, I think it's fanservice.
She hasn't done much yet, either, but no one really has aside from Lion-O.
Yeah, the skinninnes really puts me off. I loved Cheetara as a kid, but I'm not sure about the new unhealthy look (not just the skinniness, but the dark patches around the eyes just didn't quite read right to me! But yeah, the fanservice skinny+massive boobs is also a bit offputting). I'll probably give it a go though.
I think the dark patches around the eyes work - they're not too unlike the ones she had in the original series. The thing I really don't like, actually, is how ridiculously long her hair is. And no armor - of course she's the only one who doesn't wear any kind of armor.
Still, I've been enjoying it. **Spoilers** They've just reintroduced Panthro, and he was my favorite character in the OS. I can overlook skinny, ridiculously anime haired Cheetara for him.
I always thought Panthro was awesome. He reminded me of B.A. Barracus, of whom I was also a fan. They weren't just the Tough Black Guy, they were also the Tinkering Engineer at the same time. A odd combination, back in the day.
